Daniel Knight was born, raised and educated in London, England. After serving in the Fleet Air Arm branch of the Royal Navy he emigrated to Canada in 1957. He was employed in engineering until his retirement in 1993. With a keen interest in music--particularly singing--and model boat building, he was introduced to watercolour painting by his wife Audrey. They both joined the Watercolour Painter's Club just after its inception and continue to enjoy all aspects of the Club.
