Elected to the C.S.P.W.C. in 1997, Daisy has continued her journey creating works of water-media, fluid acrylics, collage and acrylic on plexiglass- adding her own molded frames designed for each painting . She has been accepted in many exhibitions and won numerous awards including the "LLOYD MINSHALL" award from the C.O.A.A. "Cross Section Show " and also shown in the "International Magazine" . "THE GIDEONS INTERNATIONAL" featured 16 of her works in the 1991-92 calendar. Daisy has studied with many top artists from Canada and the U.S.A. She has painted "PLEIN AIRE" on art trips abroad with GERY PULEY (SHERIDAN COLLEGE) and JACK REID'S group. Many times she has said , "if I can't get excited about a subject - I don't paint it. I would also like to add that abstracting subject matter is as exciting as painting ‘realistically'". 2008 Won first prize at Painting on the Green with a watercolour " Ancient ruins ". 2009 Won first prize at Painting on the Green with "Keeping it green" . 2009 Has been accepted into the insights show at Wellington County Museum .
