Louisa Kratka is a multi-disciplinary artist and bookbinder. Her workspace is located at Studio 490 in Guelph.
She offers workshops in bookbinding and art for adults, youth and children in the Guelph area.
She welcomes commissions of new hand bound books - journals, photo albums, guestbooks - as well as repair work of old books.
Louisa is a member of CBBAG (Canadian Bookbinders' and Book Artists' Guild) and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from NSCAD in Halifax.
Louisa works in other disciplines, including weaving, printmaking, photography, performance art and music. She plays the violin and performs at venues in the Guelph and Hamilton area. She enjoys working with children, youth, adults and seniors and welcomes collaborations with other artists and the community.
She promotes and practices a healthy, non-toxic art practice.
