I began studying art and painting seriously only in my sixtieth year. I am still painting some eighteen years later. My interest is in nature and how we react with it. I try to paint each scene in a way that portrays the emotional impact it has on me (or on the purchaser if it is a commission). Thus my paintings reflect an emotional reality as well as a physical one. Turmoil, tranquility and hope are common themes. The best way to appreciate a painting is to see it. II have a small studio on Elizabeth St. in Guelph. Drop in and view my latest work. Please phone first as I work artist's hours.
