Larry's colourful oil portraits of our barnyard buddies often bring a smile to the observer: cows, chickens, sheep, goats and geese seem to take on personalities of their own. Larry also paints landscapes capturing the changing light of our natural setting in Canada's variety of seasons.
Sculpting in soapstone is always challenging to bring out the hidden beauty in a piece of stone. The shape of a piece is often organically sweeping and the smooth surface begs to be touched and caressed.
Larry's other interest is music. He plays trumpet, tenor sax, and flute.
