Jan's art?  The experience of being.  Sometimes solitary and inward looking, at other times whimsical - riding a wild carousel careening out of control as the world spins by in a blur, figurative work alternating with abstract, mixing mediums with abandon, subjects influenced by the past and the present, classical tradition or contemporary experimentation, spurred by visual impressions, motivated by words, events and experiences, inspired by emotions and music, Jan's art follows the ever changing kaleidoscope of life - in all of its luscious variations.

Jan is also available to do workshops with adults and children on a variety of art topics.  She is a retired Art teacher and is experienced working with large and small groups.  She is particularly adept at creating projects that address cross-curricular subjects and has a special interest in environmental issues.
