 Friday May 7th, Move Update:

C.N.R. 6167 is scheduled to be June 15th, 2010. The following day it will be installed in its new location.
(South side of the tracks approx 270 meters from its current location).
Grant Kingland, David Spiegelman, George Renninger & Joe Dimech have been preparing it for the move.
Recently the draw-bar pin was removed and the stoker screw bolts have been removed. Plans next week are to roll back the tender from the locomotive. They also report bearing conditions are generally good , considering it has been "idle" since 1967.

Helmut Ostermann has been appointed the official photographer for the event. more updates to follow...
