The 2010 season is about to begin!! This year's theme is "As the Story Goes".
The Guelph Guild of Storytellers, founded in the early 90's, promotes the oral tradition of storytelling. Members explore the telling of myths, legends, fables and personal stories
We meet Spring through December.
Evenings at the Boathouse: We tell the second Wednesday of the
spring, summer and fall months, at 8pm. These performances are held at the
Boathouse (Gordon Street at the Speed River bridge) and are open to the
public. The monthly theme is optional and
encourages experienced tellers to continue to expand their repertoires (and provides a good laugh as we try to fit the story we want to tell to the theme).
See the Guidelines in sidebar for open mic time.
