Description of Activity:

Specific duties include assisting with museums' education programs, special events children's museum activities and developing education kits, crafts activities.  Hours vary each week depending upon program demand.  Meetings and training sessions are held monthly.

Skills Required: Enthusiasm, good public relation skills.  Willingness to learn.  Knowledge of local history an asset. Enjoy working with a variety of age groups.

We ask that you complete our Volunteer Application Form (PDF forms are available or pick one up at the museum.  Our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you to set up a time to discuss volunteer opportunities at the museum.  Once you have been accepted into Guelph Museums' Volunteer program, orientation packages, tours of sites and overviews of specific volunteer work and work schedules will be provided.
