SUMMARY:Retrospectacle: A Garage Sale of Artistic Works
DESCRIPTION:This exhibition aims to provide an opportunity for artists with old work that is taking up space in their studio\, falls outside of “recency” submission criteria for exhibition opportunities\, or is maybe just a super experimental piece that falls outside of their current body of work that they would like to have the opportunity to sell. \nShow is up March 12th to April 12th\, Tue-Fri 11am to 4pm staff permitting. \nPlease support the local artists in the show by coming out to the closing reception April 4th\, 5 to 7pm.

DESCRIPTION:Nancy MacNabb of Guelph and Patrice Baker of Fergus are teaming together for a show of acrylic and mixed media abstract art held at Headwaters Arts Gallery in Alton\, Ontario\, just south of Orangeville. See large and small artistic pieces that engage viewers by emotion and curiosity\, by the heart and the mind. Celebrate with the artists how happenstance becomes one ready and even necessary art-making tool – when chance\, such as found objects and spontaneous brushstrokes\, joins choice\, such as thoughtful planning – in the creation of unique beauty.
