DESCRIPTION:The Donald Forster Sculpture Park is one of the most diverse of its kind in Canada\, featuring 41 outdoor installations by prominent Canadian and international artists on a 2.5-acre site adjacent to the Art Gallery of Guelph. Hear from author\, art historian\, and the Macdonald Stewart Art Centre’s founding Director\, Judith Nasby\, as she takes attendees through the events of the early years of Guelph’s public gallery and sculpture park\, as detailed in her two publications\, The Making of a Museum and Kivioq’s Journey. \nPresented by the AGG Volunteers Association.

DESCRIPTION:Art on the Street is co-presented with Downtown Guelph Business Association and features contemporary fine art and craft. The juried event has grown since 2003 to become Guelph’s largest outdoor exhibition and sale. Art on the Street spotlights talent within the regional arts community and offers a fresh-air art experience for Guelph’s residents and visitors. Each year\, established and emerging artists showcase their works to several thousand visitors in temporary\, open-air studios. Art on the Street is a free event which welcomes art lovers of all ages. \nThis year Art on the Street is taking place June 21st 2025\, 10am to 5pm.
