SUMMARY:Hold the Phone! Video Storytelling Camp
DESCRIPTION:This March Break\, Ed Video is offering a fun and engaging video production camp where campers can create and tell stories for digital media. Digital storytelling is a transferable skill that kids can use for the rest of their lives. Digital storytelling provides: \n\nopportunities for self-expression and developing confidence\nproblem solving skills\neffective presentation and marketing skills\ncritical thinking development\ncommunication skills\nopportunities for fun\, creativity and imagination!\n\nInstructed by Christina Cameletti and Jaden Howson\, campers will learn storyboarding\, camera operation\, sound recording\, lighting\, green screen and video editing. Using these skills\, campers will work together to shoot their own short works to be screened for parents and guardians on the final day of camp. To encourage campers to continue their digital storytelling journey\, they will be provided with their very own microphone kits to keep! \nCamp will run from 11am-5pm\, Monday\, March 11th to Friday\, March 15th at Ed Video Media Arts Centre (404 York Road\, Guelph ON). This camp is designed for youth aged 10-14 years of age. The cost of the camp is $300. Siblings can register at a discounted rate of $550 for both campers. Limited enrollment. \nNOTE: Ed Video is committed to making our services accessible to all\, including those facing financial barriers.
