DESCRIPTION:Join us for a dynamic three days of musical inspiration\, learning\, creativity\, and community!\nYour hosts & facilitators KATHERINE WHEATLEY & JANE LEWIS are thrilled to welcome talented musicians CYNTHIA KINNUNEN and STACEY CAN-TAMAKLOE as guest instructors.\nOur spring weekend will focus on group singing\, playing\, drumming\, and dance—nurturing community and connections through music. Ukulele is the focus of one of our instructors. Of course there will always be space and activities for our songwriters! (However\, if you are specifically looking for songwriting instruction\, we recommend our September weekend—Sept 12-14\, 2025.)\nAll our weekends aim to foster musical joy\, discovery\, connections\, delicious food\, and access to nature on the beautiful grounds of Ignatius Retreat Centre.\nYou do NOT need to know how to play an instrument or read music! All you need is a love of music\, a desire to connect with other music makers\, and a willingness to try something new.\nAlong with workshops on singing\, drumming\, ukulele and dance\, we’ll have small impromptu bands\, a pop-up choir\, jamming\, an open mic\, song circles and more!
