DESCRIPTION:This workshop introduces to the essentials of editing video in Adobe Premiere Pro: how the software manages media\, starting a new project\, importing footage\, simple editing tools\, applying effects\, and exporting your work. This beginner-level workshop is an ideal starting point for someone who wants an overview of the software. \nTopics include\n• Setting up a new project and importing media\n•Organizing Media\n•Basic editing and assembly\n•Basic audio adjustments\n•Applying and adjusting effects\n•Applying and adjusting transitions\n•Applying and adjusting titles\n•Exporting video \nParticipants will need a laptop with Adobe Premiere Pro. Ed Video has a limited amount of laptops available for members to use during the workshop. SUMMARY:Lighting & Grip Fundamentals
DESCRIPTION:Facilitated by Jose Garcia \nThis workshop covers the fundamental techniques and practices of lighting for film and video. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nParticipants will learn the uses and benefits of a variety of lights as well as how to employ bounces\, diffusion and negative fill when creating a lighting set-up. Scenes and images will be analysed to identify the different lighting approaches and tools used and then recreated for hands-on experience. While this workshop sheds light on industry approaches to lighting\, there is a strong emphasis on working with existing lighting and simple tools. \nPlease email workshops@edvideo.org with any questions or accessibility concerns.
