SUMMARY:Building Interactive Networks with TouchDesigner
DESCRIPTION:Facilitated by Kwasi Bugyei \nLearn to build live interactive and immersive networks using TouchDesigner\, a node based visual programming software\, in this 2-part workshop. \nExperience Level: Beginner \nIn Part 1\, participants will receive a comprehensive overview of TouchDesigners’ capabilities including:\n• 2D/3D basics\n• Motion Capture and Gesture Control\n• Projection Mapping Sensors and MIDI Service Inputs\n• AI \nIn Part 2\, participants will apply the skills they acquired in the previous session to create and present interactive and immersive advertisements\, environments and experiences for a mock agency. They will focus on creating networks for campaigns in the following industries:\n• Fashion\n• Food\n• Music\n• Live Performance\n• Tech Start Up and Mobile Apps ( social\, dating\, shopping)\n• Sports\n• Film and Broadcast Media\n• Travel and Tourism\n• Automotive\n• Education and Humanities. \nBy the end of the workshop\, participants will have a foundational understanding of TouchDesigner networks\, along with templates and example builds that can be used for potential professional opportunities in UX/UI design and digital marketing. \nThis workshop requires a laptop with TouchDesigner and a scroll wheel mouse. Ed Video has a limited amount of laptops with TouchDesigner available for members to use.
