SUMMARY:Ed Video Summer Animation Camp
DESCRIPTION:Ages: 10-14 \nThis summer\, your child can have fun creating their own animated shorts at Ed Video’s Animation Camp! Instructed by Jaden Howson\, campers will spend the week learning the basics of how to animate using Krita\, an open-source digital painting and animation program. Using the skills they’ve learned\, campers have the opportunity to work individually or in groups to create their own characters and bring them to life in their very own animated shorts. Campers’ works will be screened for parents and guardians on the final day of camp! \nCampers are free to bring their own laptop to camp or they can rent a laptop for the week for an additional $20. *Laptops are limited and will be rented on a first come\, first served basis. \nLimited enrollment. SUMMARY:The Image Makers
DESCRIPTION:Facilitated by Greg Elgie \nIt’s time for the next round of Image Makers and this session we are shooting at high frame rates! Experiment with some of Ed Video’s portable cameras (or bring your own) with high speed filming options. We will have a guest skateboarder who will give us some tricks to film at higher frame rates. Meet at the Silvercreek Skate Park (address: 142 Edinburgh Rd S. (at the Wellington St W. and Edinburgh Rd S. intersection)). There will be an indoor activity planned in the event of rain so please ensure you register so you can be informed of a weather cancellation.  While no formal instruction is provided\, this session is a great opportunity to meet new collaborators\, try new techniques\, push one another to new levels\, and keep skills fresh.  \nPlease email workshops@edvideo.org with any questions\, accessibility needs and to register.

DESCRIPTION:Come together with a group and create joyful\, spontaneous music & sound!\nCircle Music is a form of collaborative music making that fosters community building and creative expression. It helps cultivate connection and presence through the use of elements including: improvisation\, body percussion\, circle singing\, movement and play. Participants will be guided through a session where each person is encouraged to come as they are and make a joyful noise.\n*Deep listening is needed more than ever in the world.
