DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a full weekend of music\, arts\, food and culture! Riverfest Elora 2022 is Friday\, August 19\, Saturday\, August 20 and Sunday\, August 21 in Bissell Park.\nThe festival\, held along the banks of the Grand River\, has come a long way since its humble beginnings as a backyard festival in 2009. \nAfter a pandemic hiatus\, we are incredibly stoked to get back to Bissell for festival number 12 in 2022. Get ready for three days of art\, food trucks\, arts and craft vendors\, community and of course\, music! \nWeekend passes\, single day tickets\, after party passes and overflow camping passes are available here. \nWe would like to express our thanks to the Six Nations Community and acknowledge them as the traditional stewards and keepers of the land upon which our event is held. \nOver the years\, Riverfest Elora has brought an impressive array of musicians to the small town. Past artists include City and Colour\, The Flaming Lips\, Carly Rae Jepsen\, MGMT\, July Talk\, Gogol Bordello\, Chromeo\, Metric\, Blue Rodeo\, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones\, Walk Off The Earth\, The Halluci Nation\, Serena Rider\, Sam Roberts Band\, Joel Plaskett Emergency\, Wolf Parade\, City and Colour\, The Sheepdogs\, Monster Truck\, Charles Bradley\, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings\, Bruce Cockburn\, Hey Rosetta!\, DJ Jazzy Jeff\, k-os\,The New Pornographers\, Alice Merton\, Mother Mother\, Shakey Graves\, 54 40\, Matthew Good\, K.Flay\, Bahamas\, Hollerado\, Sloan\, Elliott Brood\, Mix Master Mike\, The Rural Alberta Advantage\, Tokyo Police Club\, Ashley MacIsaac\, Dan Mangan\, Yukon Blonde\, Born Ruffians\, Weaves\, Rich Aucoin\, Kardinal Offishall\, Alan Doyle\, Cuff the Duke\, Wintersleep\, Shad\, Rawlins Cross\, Kevin Breit\, The Slackers\, Prairie Oyster\, Danny Michel and many more. \nThe festival was founded by Elora artist Marilyn Koop in 2009. Koop passed away in 2012 and the festival continues in her memory. DESCRIPTION:Get swept away by the sweet sounds of Oneida/Mohawk artist Lacey Hill during August’s free Fourth Friday concert! Lacey captivates audiences with her stage presence as she sings powerful lyrics over melodic guitar chords. Catch her intimate Guelph Museums debut on our patio overlooking beautiful Downtown Guelph. \nEvery Fourth Friday of the month enjoy free admission to the Civic Museum from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.\, and a free concert starting at 7 p.m. \nReserve your tickets now on Eventbrite! \nThe concert will also be streamed on our Facebook Page\, and available for a limited time afterwards on our YouTube channel and Museum Everywhere portal. This event takes place on the Civic Museum patio\, weather permitting\, please dress accordingly. \nDue to high demand for seating\, please arrive at the Museum and take your seat by 6:50 pm. Seats not claimed by this time may be re-assigned to rush line visitors.\n \nPlease let us know in advance if you can no longer attend so we can release the ticket to others wishing to attend. \nCash bar. \n\nAbout Lacey Hill: \nLacey Hill is Oneida/Mohawk of Six Nations of the Grand River Reservation\, Wolf Clan. She is a singer/songwriter and inspirational speaker. Lacey went solo launching her debut album titled 528\, independently in 2013\, which put her in the music scene and opened up the stage to perform her original songs. \nIn 2017 her sophomore album M (528 Volume II) has taken Lacey across Canada and onto international stages. In 2018-19 Lacey traveled to New Zealand\, Australia and the UK\, stage managing and providing original compositions for Tara Beagans’ theatre production Deer Woman. In 2020 COVID hit\, so Lacey released and premiered “The Shiner” as a single for APTN’s Amplify series\, was one of Rogers TV Highlight artists and performed a lot of online gigs!
