DESCRIPTION:Kick off the new year with an old Fourth Friday favourite\, MacTalla Road! Drawing on long-time traditional and roots sources for inspiration\, MacTalla Road likes to play straight-up traditional sets as well as blur the lines with entangled arrangements. \nEvery Fourth Friday of the month enjoy free admission to the Civic Museum from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.\, and a free concert starting at 7 p.m. \nTickets will be available January 02\, 2023. Reserve yours on Eventbrite! \nThe concert will also be streamed on our Facebook Page\, and available for a limited time afterwards on our YouTube channel and Museum Everywhere portal.  \nDue to high demand for seating\, please arrive at the Museum and take your seat by 6:50 pm. Seats not claimed by this time may be re-assigned to rush line visitors.\n \nPlease let us know in advance if you can no longer attend so we can release the ticket to others wishing to attend. \nCash bar. \n\nAbout the artist:\nMacTalla Road is Carole Pines (vocals\, penny whistles\, piano\, guitar) and Bob MacLean (vocals\, guitar\, mandolin). We are a fun toe-tapping Celtic/Trad duo performing songs and tunes with a traditional /East Coast/UK feel. Listeners have said “You’re really good and you’re really different.” …. Different because of our trad/folk stylings that you just don’t hear everyday.
