[1]  The film stars  Tantoo Cardinal  as Mary Birchbark\, an internationally famous First Nations musician who returns to her home community to recharge and reevaluate her life\, only to find that her fame is not so easily left behind. [1] The cast also includes Tina Keeper\, Gail Maurice\, Johnny Issaluk and J.D. Nicholsen. DESCRIPTION:Wound Up Circus Collective invites community members to a FREE in-progress showing of an excerpt from our contemporary circus show “REST”. This is a relaxed performance that will last approximately 15 minutes and will showcase the ground-based parts of our show (handbalancing and partner acrobatics). Audience feedback is welcome and encouraged!  \nThe showing will take place in at the Guelph Youth Dance Training Centre in Studio C. Accessibility information can be found here. \nPlease note that the studio is very small and can only accommodate a small number of people. Chairs will be available\, but some people may have to be seated on the floor.
