DESCRIPTION:Southern Ontario rock band reunites for a charity event to honor\nthe life of former lead singer and bassist\, John Licari. \nAll proceeds go to SickKids Foundation.\nVENUE / TICKETS: RiverRun Centre\, 35 Woolwich Street Guelph / 519-763-3000\nTicket link: https://riverrun.ca/whats-on/dirty-yellow-cab/ \nDATE/TIME: Saturday February 18th\, 2023 @ 7:30pm\nGuelph\, ONT – Members of Dirty Yellow Cab and Doeline reunite to pay tribute to former band\nmember and friend\, John Licari\, who died this past June after a three year battle with cancer.\nJohn was a staple of the Southern Ontario music scene as well as the longtime organist and\nmusic director for Sacred Heart Church in Guelph\, since 1988. He was also one of the top\nthree automotive after-sales managers in the country working for Policaro Porsche for his last\nseven years.\nOriginal band members\, Johnny Cusinato and Jason Damaren along with new band\nmembers Dave Huber\, D’eve Archer and Attila Toth join together to form the new Dirty\nYellow Cab. The band will recreate the songs of the original band’s first studio album (formerly\nDoeline) live as well as perform some never before released music.\nThe band will be joined by actor\, director and television host\, Frank Licari (John’s brother)\nwho will MC the event and perform a few songs with the band including an original song that\nhe wrote for his brother. Frank is currently guest starring opposite Jeremy Renner on the\nParamount Plus show\, Mayor of Kingstown and was recently seen as Dean McFarlane on\nthe hit series\, The Hardy Boys.\nThe evening will include a 90 minute concert filled with music\, stories and multimedia\nmemories celebrating a man’s life that meant so much to so many.\nThe event is presented by Quite Frankly Entertainment and sponsored in part by Policaro\nPorsche Oakville along with additional sponsorship by Royal City LePage\, Jim Humes\nAutomotive\, Guelph Guitar Repair\, Manhattan’s Pizza\, Trina Koster Photography and Salon
