DESCRIPTION:Every Tuesday we’re hosting a Bring Your Own Project – Crafting Meetup! There is no charge\, no sign-up\, and no real rules. Just bring whatever crafty project you’ve got going and work on it in the company of other crafty individuals! \nWe’ll be knocking pint prices down to $6 at 8pm to help get the creative juices flowing. \nNot working on anything specific? Get ideas and support from fellow crafters\, OR grab one of our pints of pencil crayons and make a submission to our Coaster Hall Of Fame ???? \nRegistering on eventbrite for this free event does not guarantee a seat. Entire 6 person tables can be reserved with the following link daily 12-9pm\, though mingling and table sharing are encouraged. Bar seating is always reserved for walk-ins.

SUMMARY:Intro to 3D Modelling in Blender
DESCRIPTION:Facilitated by Chris Fast \nThis introductory workshop will teach the building blocks of 3D modelling. Participants will learn the basics of selecting and manipulating vertices\, edges\, and faces\, and will use these fundamental tools to build 4 different models of varied complexity. Participants will also be introduced to and familiarised with the subdivision surface modifier which is a common tool in 3D modelling. While this workshop will be instructed using Blender\, the principles can be applied to any 3D software. \nParticipants will need a laptop\, a scroll-wheel mouse and a free download of Blender. Ed Video has a limited amount of laptops available for members to use during the workshop. Between fluctuating employment\, cuts to arts funding\, and rising costs of living it can be hard to feel secure about a stable financial future.
