Elora Fergus Studio Tour

This year, 36 artists in Fergus, Elora and the surrounding rural area open their studios and showcase their work to the public - painters, sculptors, glass artists, jewellers, potters, fabric artists, metalworkers, mixed media artists and more.

The studio tour runs Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 28-29 and Oct. 5-6 with studios open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Opening Reception is on Sept 19 between 7 and 9 PM at the Elra Centre for the Arts in Elora

ON INWARD/OUTWARD GROUNDS by Grazyna Adamska The exhibition “On Inward/Outward Grounds” assumes the form of colorfully vigorous and alternatively pale flows of dense images, rich in markings referring to nature going through current ecological changes but not severe enough to arrest growth. ). Irrespective of whether Adamska-Jarecka uses the human figure - identifying herself as the artist, the subject, or one of the elements of nature/society or not - these works stress the instabilities felt in her own immigrant identity and daily life.
