Guelph Musicfest proudly presents world-renowned pianist Valerie Tryon in a program featuring Chopin’s great 24 Preludes. Born in England, we are lucky that she made Canada her home. Her repertoire is vast and diverse. Although her particular reputation is for her interpretation of the Romantics — Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninov and others, she retains a lifelong and enduring passion for Debussy and Ravel. After the Chopin, Valerie Tryon will talk about the Preludes and interpretative possibilities. She will also perform a selection of music that matches the spirit of Chopin, including works by Debussy. Very limited reserved seating is available for fully-vaccinated patrons. Unlimited digital tickets for online viewing are available for FREE (or what you can afford).
