Learn how to create believable characters based on people you know. Not only does it make the scene easier to play, it might also be cathartic! You will not only understand them better, but also gain insights into your family (or other) dynamic, and get a clearer understanding of who you are and where you come from.
About the Instructor
Lauren Stein has been teaching improv since 2007, and performing since 1989. She is also an Expressive Arts Therapist, and has published a book about the therapeutic benefits of improv called Fun at Work: Play Your Way to Better Mental Health. Lauren has a Bachelor's in Drama from the University of Guelph, a Master's in Expressive Arts Therapy, and is an ordained Hebrew Priestess.
She is not a mother, but she used to teach a parenting class and was told by her students that she knows more about parenting than many parents. Go figure.
