GAC Historical Walking Tour V: Brooklyn and the College Hill

TOUR V: BROOKLYN AND THE COLLEGE HILL
Tours start at 2 pm
Leaves from McCrae House, 108 Water St.
Participants will be taken to the south side of the Speed River to explore one of Guelph's early industrial sections, formerly known as Brooklyn, as well as the College Hill area that developed around the Ontario Agricultural College. The tour includes some of the city's best examples of masonry and stone carving.

On Sunday, September 30, join Guelph Arts Council’s Katie Wilde on a condensed tour of public art and other creative gems in downtown Guelph.

Runs about 45 minutes, starting from Guelph Arts Council, 42 Carden Street across from City Hall/Market Square.

Free, as part of Culture Days. 

Directions

Meet in front of 10C Shared Space - between Eric the Baker and 39 Carden Street (bistro), across from City Hall/Market Square. The tour will depart at 4pm on a 45 minute walk around downtown Guelph.
