Experience the Arts
Support, experience and find your artistic niche at a fundraiser event for Guelph Arts Council this March!
A team of students from an Event Marketing class at Conestoga College have teamed up with Guelph Arts Council to create a fundraising event in support of the arts in the city of Guelph. The event, Experience the Arts, will take place on Sunday March 26th 2017. The event will include 5-6 interactive arts ‘stations’ where attendees can experience their choice of 3 arts activities with local artists/community members who will run a station within their expertise, all for only $30* a ticket. The arts ‘stations’ will include a wide range of art related activities from dancing and drawing to learning to play the ukulele and creating something special at a DIY craft station.
Attendees can also participate in a silent auction consisting of art pieces and great assortment of items donated from local businesses and community members as well as enjoy an assortment of finger foods at this catered event. The goal of the event is not just a fundraising effort for GAC, but to inspire community members to experience the arts and possibly acquire a new skill!
