Art Therapy with Jessie Buchanan
Art therapy is a form of expressive therapy that uses the creative process of making art to improve a person's physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
What happens in the session?
Professionally trained art therapist Jessie Buchanan works from a client-centred perspective and supports the client through their journey while in art therapy.
Art therapy has been proven to help: grief and loss, stress/anxiety, depression, mood disorders, self-esteem, and to foster enjoyment.
What if I can't draw or paint?
You do not need to be an artist to participate. The sessions are based on focussing on the connection between yourself and the art created, not on the quality of your art skills.
When: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday starting June 2nd 2018.
Cost is $80/session (90 minutes)
