I believe labour is the central unit of the art-making process. While I’m making my work, I remind myself of this; I tell myself that I am a labourer – which by extension means the artist, artist assistant, the curator, the installer, and the whole team – manufacturing not only art objects but also moments within the work. During this process, I am driven by instinct.
My interdisciplinary practice and taps into human's tendencies of failure and awkwardness. I am also a part of a collaborative installation practice with Ahmri Vandeborne in which we explore the unnoticed.
