Photography-based mixed media; and abstract painting.
Rosanne Morris is inspired to create while “forest bathing” in nature; or while appreciating the elements of design in urban settings. Her work resonates with “Miksang”: a Sanskrit word which means “good eye”. Photo images are adjusted digitally and then painted, to create pleasing images. Serendipity is never far away, which keeps her work vibrant and fresh.
Recent works are inspired by colours of San Miguel de Allende; the ramparts and break waters of St. Malo; and dells and seacliffs of Guernsey in The Channel Islands.
