ARTscreen at Gallery Stratford
Call for Proposals
Gallery Stratford invites artists working in video or digital media to submit proposals for our new ARTscreen exhibition program. Thanks to support from the Canada Cultural Spaces Fund, the south façade of our building will be re-visioned as an art-dedicated outdoor screen presenting digital artwork by local, regional, and national artists.
We invite creative and experimental proposals from artists interested in screening work on the façade of our gallery building located in a popular park-setting not far from Downtown Stratford and the Stratford Festival theatre. ARTscreen exhibitions will be screened year-round from just after sunset till midnight. Work of any length will be considered, with preference given to work ranging from 5 to 15 minutes in length. Both solo and group exhibitions will be presented.
Gallery Stratford is committed to diversity and inclusiveness. We encourage submissions from early career, recent graduates, Indigenous, Black, LGBT2S+, and artists of colour. All artists will be paid CARFAC fees.
Submissions should include:
- Link to artist website
- Artist Bio and CV
- Artist Statement
- Link to proposed work
- Subject line of email should state: ARTscreen_your name
