Guelph Youth Music Centre
The Guelph Youth Music Centre (GYMC) is a unique community benefit organization that operates a 13,000 sq. ft. facility in downtown Guelph, Ontario. Through innovative programming, and community partnerships, the GYMC educates, enriches and fosters the development of our youth through music and the arts.
Job Description
The GYMC is looking for an energetic and creative Executive Director to lead our organization into the future and realize its full potential.
The executive director reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for the leadership and operational management of the GYMC. The successful candidate will work with the Board to identify and secure funding sources through corporate and private sponsors, grants, foundations and other fundraising activities. The Executive Director is responsible for developing, planning, implementing and evaluating youth music and arts programs, fostering volunteerism, and sound financial and facility management.
Musical training and arts programming experience would be an asset. Grant writing experience and strong communication skills are essential.
Salary $58,000–$62,000
