The Sound Engineer is responsible for the live mixing and on set sound for our Filmed Youth Musical Theatre Productions. They work alongside the director, DOP, and Sound Designer, camera operator and work on set with students, micing them, doing sound checks, and taking responsibility for the sound. The goal of the Sound Engineer is to help prepare for the final high quality product, work with vendors, and ensure that the production technical elements are economically and efficiently executed. They control the sound into the cameras, the sound board, and wireless systems during filming for a smooth post-production editing process.
