Description
The Stage Manager will be of great assistance during the latter end of the rehearsal process for the Stretch
Marks production presented at IMPACT21. You will practically and organizationally support the
director, actors, and designers during the rehearsal process ensuring the production runs smoothly.
Assist in the production process for the Stretch Marks at IMPACT21 in October 2021
Attend all rehearsals and performances within a given time period
Create a master calendar of rehearsals, target dates and deadlines, and performances
Write and distribute daily rehearsal, production meetings, and performance reports in a timely fashion
Record director’s blocking in production book and assist actors with blocking as needed
Record all deck cues, lighting cues, sound cues, etc., and stand-by’s in the production book in
advance of the first technical rehearsal
Coordinate all scene shift rehearsals, technical, and dress rehearsals in cooperation with the director
and other members of the production team
Take line notes when actors are off book and prompt actors as needed
Call all cues during the run of the show including light, sound, and deck cues
Clean up after all rehearsals and performances spaces
Make sure rehearsal props and furnishings are available for the actors
Activities

Diploma/Degree in Theatre Production and/or minimum of two years of experience in live arts
production management
Basic understanding of technical theatre elements: lights, sound, props, and special effects.
A positive, supportive attitude
Very Detail Oriented
Strong Organizational SkillsEffective problem-solving skills
Resides in the Region of Waterloo and/or has the ability to travel to the Region of Waterloo
(Kitchener)

Hours ranging from 24 – 26 hrs
