Sarah Carvalho is one of Ontario’s wetland portrait landscape painters. A leader in the art and business world; her opinions on art have been quoted by the local and regional press alike. She answers how to make solid steps to visualizing the journey of creative expression.

Selling her first works, and winning an award for drawing, before she was 20, Sarah studied both visual art and art history, at York University, where she graduated with a four-year honors degree. Sarah then continued her education doing graduate work at both York and Western Ontario Universities. She has filled a variety of roles for the art community, from consulting, to selecting art rentals for the corporate market, to being art show curator, juror, and mentoring many other artists in her long career.

Sarah also rents her property to film productions, and music videos.

Always moving forward, today she is design project manager for an Escarpment property, where landscape is the art.
