Roxann Blazetich‑Ozols has worked with fibre and beads for 20 years creating beaded jewellery then kits under the name of BEADADDICT. Recent beadwork collaborations with lampwork artists have given Roxann the opportunity to "engineer" wearable art pieces that have been included in U.S. and Canadian publications, exhibitions and competitions.
She is the creator of the dual lucet, the DUCETTE®, with which she has taught traditional and unique braiding techniques from her own instructions using contemporary fibres and stringing materials to make jewellery, home decor and unique fashion items. While the DUCETTE® is made in an Ontario sawmill, it is hand finished by Roxann.

More recently Roxann has been teaching crochet and designing crochet patterns using Ontario yarns to promote the use of local materials and suppliers. Les Belles Bouclettes in eastern Ontario and Twin Oaks Farm Fibre in the Guelph area are two such fleece producers. Other crochet patterns are available through the fibre related site, Ravelry.
