In search of an art tutor/teacher to travel to our home just outside Guelph in Puslinch to teach art to our young homeschooled children. Their ages are 9,7,6, and 4. Schedule is very flexible. This could be a weekly lesson or bimonthly. In addition to an agreed upon wage, travel time will be compensated and all materials you require can be provided. Looking for someone who can instruct them in the basics of drawing and painting skills as well as some art history. Please contact me to discuss further.
The East Side Library is a branch of the Guelph Public Library, located at 1 Starwood Dr. We are able to provide display space for wall art only on a monthly basis.
Hanging capacity is 10-30 pieces, depending on size. Individuals or groups are welcome to submit a proposal.
Please keep in mind that the work should be suitable for a family-oriented, community space. Artists are responsible for hanging and removing work. There is no charge for this space.
When submitting, please include:
-your full name and email address
-4-8 images of work representative of what you intend to display (per participant, if in a group)
-a brief bio/artist statement
-proposal of available dates, with alternatives if possible

Call for Entries: Aesthetica Art Prize Now Open for Submissions
The Aesthetica Artt Prize is an opportunity for artists to gain further exposure through publication in the Future Now: 100 Contemporary Artists annual, and to exhibit their work at the Aesthetica Art Prize Exhibition, hosted in the city of York, UK.
There are two categories for entry; the Emerging Prize which is open to current students and artists who have graduated within the last two years, and the Main Prize, open to all including those eligible for the Emerging Prize.
Artists can submit work to one of four categories: Photographic & Digital Art; Three-Dimensional Design & Sculpture; Painting, Drawing & Mixed Media and Video; and Installation & Performance.
Prizes include: £5,000 for the Main Prize, £1,000 for the Emerging Prize, group exhibition hosted by Aesthetica, Editorial coverage, Publication in the Future Now annual, art supplies and books supplied by Prize sponsors.

We are opening a new restaurant in Guelph and are looking for a chalk artist for a large menu board as well as an artist to create something on another large wall.
Time frame-one month

Between ages 8-17. Male and female dancers welcome. No height restriction.
*selected students should be prepared to attend rehearsal for the remainder of the day and all day Sunday, September 9th
*students must commit to attend all weekly Sunday rehearsals at Royal City School of Ballet and Jazz, 128 Woolwich St, Guelph (details of rehearsal schedule yet to be determined)
*Performances are Thursday, December 20th and Friday, December 21st at River Run Centre, downtown Guelph. Students will need to be available throughout both days for dress rehearsal with the ballet company and evening performances at 7:30 pm
