Partnered with The Cotton Factory in Hamilton, NoBa is now accepting submissions for “Nature, Being & Technology” for the International Contemporary Textile & Fibre Art Exhibition.
Nature, Being & Technology aims to explore the integration of technology into historically handmade practices and how manufacturing and digitalization is changing the landscape of contemporary textile/fibre arts and societal perceptions of applied technology. Textiles hold and carry our history of being in this world and through the innovative minds behind textile & fibre art creation we will discover forms of the future.
Submitted works must relate conceptually or in practice to the medium of contemporary textile/fibre art, and explore the theme of Nature, Being & Technology
