Summer Social And Fabric Swap

Thursday, June 12, 6:30pm – 8:00pm @ TheMuseum, Community Rooms, Kitchener, ON

KW Garment Sewists Guild is ending their 2024-2025 season with social time and a swap! Share your summer sewing plans, de-stash, and bring home some inspiration.

Here’s how the swap works:

• Gather any unwanted fabric (0.5 meter minimum) or sewing tools that you would like to bring to the swap.
• Bundle your fabric (suggested to be rolled and tied with string) and label with fabric type, yardage, any any other info. Identification label templates can be found here to print.
• Bring your items to the swap. When you sign in let us know how many items you have brought. You will receive priority cards which allow you to have first dibs at the swap.
• The swap will consist of 2 rounds:

1. Attendees who contribute to the swap can take 1 item
2. All attendees can take 1 item
3. Remaining items are offered as a free for all with no item limits (first grab, first get. No fighting please!)

This event is FREE for all community members –  bring a friend!
