Ed Video Media Arts Centre is seeking youth applicants age 15 – 30 for a Collection Database Creation Internship. This 16-week internship is focused on the first phase of our Video Collection Digitization Project.
This role provides a unique opportunity to engage with a significant archive of video artworks, shorts and full feature films and institutional recordings produced at Ed Video since 1976. The intern will help sort, catalogue, and assess a variety of media formats—while developing skills in archival practices and media preservation. Key tasks will include organizing materials by format and content type, inputting metadata into accessioning software, and evaluating the physical condition of tapes for future digitization.
