The Sally Wismer Gallery and Guelph Arts Council office will be closed on September 30th for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
We encourage you to learn about the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s 94 Calls to Action and consider how you can take action. Note that after 11 years, only 15% of the calls to action have been completed. You can learn more about the status of the 94 Calls to Action through Indigenous Watchdog’s website.
Another helpful resource to check out is Native Land, an organization which helps map Indigenous lands so that you can learn who’s land you’re on and which treaties effect them.
