Preetam Sengupta, Manager of Operations/Interim Executive Director
Preetam Sengupta is a storytelling singer-songwriter from Sarnia, but has called Guelph home for over ten years. His 2017 album “Patience” earned him a Folk Music Ontario Award that included a certificate which he gave to his parents. Often compared to Paul Simon, Preetam’s live show is built around simple performance, playful stage banter, very little pyro, and a genuine desire to connect with his audience.
Caleb Smolenaars, Manager of Programs & Communications (Interim)
Caleb Smolenaars (they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist and community organizer. They hold a BA in Labour Studies from McMaster University and are currently pursuing an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the University of the Arts London (online). Their work has been featured by numerous publications including Canadian Geographic, The Weather Network, CBC, and many more.
Maddy Avery, Manager of Programs & Communications (On Leave)
Madeleine Avery is an artist and arts administrator. She graduated from the University of Guelph’s Studio Art program where she specialized in printmaking. Madeleine is very fond of the Guelph community and is excited to be a part of serving the Guelph Arts Community.
