Otherwise Studios has partnered with the Upper Grand District School Board Centre for Continuing Education to offer a series of classes this winter!
In this 8-week series, participants will learn a variety of printmaking mediums and methods including linoblock, monotype, and press-less “kitchen” lithography. Participants will learn the basics of designing, creating, and printing their image and will build on their skills to try out different techniques including multi-colour printmaking, creating editions, and hybrid printmaking. Historical and contemporary examples and theories will be woven into each class to support participant learning.
