Join the Manomin Project editorial team at artBar on Tuesday, November 19, 7pm, for the launch of Manomin: Caring for Ecosystems and Each Other. A collection of stories, recipes, photographs, and academic essays, Manomin explores the past, present, and future possibilities of the only cereal grain native to Turtle Island (also known as North America) and shares the plant’s many lessons about the living relationships between all forms of creation. This event will feature a panel discussion with the book’s STEM editors: Andrea Bradford, Samantha Mehltretter, and Jane Mariotti.
Books will be available for sale thanks to our friends at The Bookshelf. Book signing and refreshments to follow.
