Presented by the Guelph Arts Council, Oceans, Wetlands, and Greenlands by local artist Grazyna Adamska-Jarecka depicts vital and interconnected ecosystems. The exhibit features more than 25 paintings displayed across three library locations: Main Library, East Side Library, and Westminster Square Library. The collection includes works from the artist’s My Oceanic Allegories show, as well as paintings depicting forests, lakes, and wetlands.
About the Artist
Grazyna Adamska-Jarecka is a Polish-born Canadian painter who has lived in Guelph, Ontario, for thirty years. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from the University of Guelph in 2002 and her Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2006. Her background in biology has greatly influenced her artistic interests.
