Violinist SADIE FIELDS returns to Guelph from Belgium to join pianist/director KEN GEE for another Musicfest ENCORE recital. But this one is going to be very special indeed.
The Roaring 20s was a decade of incredible energy and creativity around the world, particularly in Paris as well as North America. Like now, it was an amazing comeback from the great influenza pandemic of 1918 with Jazz having big influence on “Classical” music. This program concept was created by Sadie and her excitement and love for the music of the 1920s. Last year’s Roaring 20s concert was such a hit that we had to do a SEQUEL!
