Drop in on our weekly Wednesday workshops!
Our ‘In the Neighbourhood’ workshops are a great opportunity to learn about and practice improv right here in our own backyard! Literally! The good ol’ backyard is where we started teaching our classes and it’s where we like to practice improv in the summers. It is located in the area of the Victoria Rd and York Rd intersection in Guelph.
In these workshops we’ll use discussions, exercises and scenework to play with this wonderful artform of improv theatre.
The Fun & Fundamentals workshops are for all experience levels. If you’ve never tried improv, this is your chance to dip a toe (or cannonball). If you’re a seasoned pro, you know much fun and helpful it is to meet new players and groups with different styles. With many decades of performing and teaching experience between them (and within some alone) the Friendly Heretics are eager to lead you and learn with you.
We reserve the backyard address for confirmed attendants. Once you register, we will give you the deets with joy.

We happily lead the workshops for free, and we will also accept any donations to put toward renting warm spaces in the winter. You are welcome either way!
