Preparing your ideas for the marketplace is an important step in the journey from script to screen. In this two-day workshop, we will cover writing and practicing the verbal pitch, creating dynamic pitch decks, one-sheets, look-books, and other tools to sell both your vision and yourself, as creator. We will also look at the proliferation of ‘accelerators’, residencies, contests, and creative hubs—and how to position yourself to take advantage of these opportunities, and to use them as concrete stepping stones in your career as a screenwriter.
