The Image Makers

A free monthly gathering of video and cinema makers who are dedicated to the craft of moving imagery, with a particular focus on lighting design.

t’s time for the next round of the Image Makers! As suggested by one of our attendees, we will try to light a simple music video with a single artist and a piano. Come with ideas of some shots you’d like to put in the video (colours, camera placements, action shots). If anyone has some piano skills, please email [email protected], as we may use you as our subject for the night if you are interested. Participants are also welcome to bring other instruments if they would like to experiment with their “inner rockstar!”

While no formal instruction is provided, this session is a great chance to meet new collaborators, try new techniques, push one another to new levels, and keep skills fresh.
