Join us for a dynamic three days of musical inspiration, learning, creativity, and community!
Your hosts & facilitators KATHERINE WHEATLEY & JANE LEWIS are thrilled to welcome talented musicians CYNTHIA KINNUNEN and STACEY CAN-TAMAKLOE as guest instructors.
Our fall weekend will focus on group singing, playing, drumming, and dance—nurturing community and connections through music. Ukulele is the focus of one of our instructors. Additionally, there is more activities for our songwriters!
All our weekends aim to foster musical joy, discovery, connections, delicious food, and access to nature on the beautiful grounds of Ignatius Retreat Centre.
You do NOT need to know how to play an instrument or read music! All you need is a love of music, a desire to connect with other music makers, and a willingness to try something new.
Along with workshops on singing, drumming, ukulele and dance, we’ll have small impromptu bands, a pop-up choir, jamming, an open mic, song circles and more! All in the safe and nurturing environment we create to allow you to explore your creativity and bring out the music deep inside you.
