Each month we’ll feature a video from one of GAC’s musical members. If you’re a musician and have a video you’d like us to feature, please send a YouTube link our way along with a short bio.

This month, we share one from a recent Motown tribute show held at Royal City Church, featuring D’Eve Archer, among others. D’Eve (and her alter ego “Saturdae Jonez”) recently returned from a sold out showcase event at the Grammys in Los Angeles, where we’re told she was the artist about whom everyone was talking after the show. With that performance behind her, and new music on the horizon, the sky is the limit for this wonderful artist who has performed around the world, but calls Guelph home.

When describing the solo sounds of D’Eve Archer, many are not only impressed by her diversity with instrumentation, but amazed by her techniques to fuse multiple genres together to make harmonious sounds that will leave you wanting more. In her own words:
“It’s not just about what you are playing for your audience, it’s about what you are giving them. Every time I step on stage, whether it be in a large arena, or a small intimate lounge, I aim to share my heart, my mind, and my soul with everyone in that venue.”

As promised, the encore from Guelph’s recent Motown tribute show:
